Vietnam’s Education and Training Development Policies (1996 - 2026)

Abstract

During the 1996 - 2026 period, Vietnam's education and training development policies played a pivotal role in the national strategy to enhance public intellectual standards and develop high-quality human resources. This study systematizes macro-level policies and evaluates their practical impacts on the national education system over the past three decades. By integrating historical and logical methods with documentary analysis of legal frameworks, the paper elucidates the developmental trajectory and core achievements of Vietnamese education. The findings highlight prominent milestones alongside fundamental limitations in policy implementation.
