Artificial Intelligence: A Gilded cage of Cyber Control

Abstract

Freedom is a spectacle to be dangled in front of the masses and the woman in the cage understands that. A woman understands that control comes in many forms, it once came in the way of tradition, then through religion, and then even through empowerment but the newest manifestation of this evasive entity would be in the form of freedom.Technology back in the 1990’s was what we would call gods answer to all of humanities mundane problems; it made it seem as though the all trivialities of one's lives were taken care of.But as all good things metamorphosize in the unchecked hands of its user; Advancements in technology and subsequently Artificial Intelligence have also been used as a tool to control and exploit women. The means through which women have been subjugated to unfair treatment, sexism, and threats that have evolved with every advancement that humanity has made. This paper aims to decode the new age threat against women that is difficult to categorize and combat but is primarily dependent on data feminism exploring how AI has brought about a dystopian era of digital bias.This paper can be categorized under SDG goal 5 set by the United Nations.
